WarehouseTerminals

In October of 2009, the Mississippi Export Railroad broke ground on its bulk handling warehouse. The facility is located in MSE’s Helena Industrial Complex and was built to house a packaging operation or storage of any number of commodities. Having a footprint close to 48,000 sq feet, the warehouse has an 8,000 sq foot loading dock (392’x20′) and an enclosed area close to 42,500 sq feet.  Also, the warehouse has a 24′ eave height, 20′ interior ridge clearance height, and 800 lbs per sq foot floor capacity.

MSE’s warehouse is strategically located next to the Helena Storage Yard, which has the capacity to store and stage approximately 250 railcars.

Whether you require containers stripping and loading or LTL, this facility was designed to accommodate all intermodal needs. With the ability to spot 8 railcars per switch and 12 truck doors, this facility is capable of swinging material in a hurry.  Additionally, its close proximity to Interstate 10 and Highway 63 allows trucks to avoid idle and generate commerce.

The warehouse currently houses a transload facility offering steaming services, bulk tank track transportation, transloading, and warehousing for liquid and dry bulk, containers, totes, super sacks, packaged materials, lumber and building materials, and palletized goods.

MSE welcomes the opportunity to build similar warehouses to serve your needs.
